Basics

This is a static website without tracking, analytics services or advertising cookies. Fonts and all other resources are served locally from our server – no Google Fonts or other external font services are embedded.

Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser type) to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may also process data outside the EU on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy .

Season cookie

If you choose a season view via the summer/winter switch, we store this choice in a purely functional cookie (“saison”, lifetime 7 days). It contains no personal data and is not used for analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Online booking (Smoobu)

The “Rates & booking” page embeds the booking engine of our channel manager Smoobu (Smoobu GmbH, Berlin) as an iframe. When you open that page, data (e.g. your IP address) is transferred to Smoobu; when you book, Smoobu processes the booking data you enter on our behalf to fulfil the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle the enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not pass this data on without your consent.

Links to external services (e.g. Google Maps for route planning) only open in a new tab after your click. Only then do the privacy terms of the respective provider apply.
